Help Us Advertise the Group!
The biggest barrier to the growth of our membership is simply the lack of knowledge about us within the community. Up until now, we've primarily relied on word-of-mouth, and while that will always be our first and most important resource, we'd like to see if we can start getting the word out to the community as well.
To that end, we'd like to ask our members with design skills to create some flyers for the group. The only requirement is that they be easy to reproduce - ideally in black and white. Once complete, these flyers will be distributed to web and design firms in the area, Sierra College and the Los Rios Community College schools, the local computer training centers, and anywhere else we can think of that will take them.
This isn't a design contest, either. If more than one member submits acceptable designs, we can use them all.
Feel free to use the information on this website as a basis for helping design the flyers. You can also download a big version of our logo and the Adobe User Group logo to use. (Please note that due to legal restrictions, you cannot use any other Adobe logos or Adobe product logos.) Also, the designer of the flyer is welcome to include a "designed by" notice or logo or whatever to give yourself credit for the design and provide a bit of advertising for you.
Once complete, please use our contact form to let our group manager, Rob Huddleston, know that you have a design ready. You can also ue the form to submit any questions you may have during the design process.
